Not registered as a professional painter but done
in lively colors that haven't lost their strength over time.
We recently had contact with the son of Denis Coekaerts,
Luc who told us his father has passed away in 2009. As an
artist he studied at the Academy in Leuven (Belgium) but
earned his money as a salesman in paint and other decorative
stuff. Once he retired, he started painting again.

It must have been done in a small village near Namen.
Work on canvas. Dimensions: 50 / 65 cm.
Often his name has been written with two "l's.
He signed his works however only with one!
