A very nice crayon to my believe were the skills of this artist
are obvious. alas, she still produces crayons of a much lesser
quality, probably because of her age?? Good that she is still
active but it is not a real addition to her own heritage.
HENRICUS VEENENDAAL (1889 - 1972)
More than often this is the subject Henricus Veenendaal
is known for. This particular painting has been auctioned
at Christies in Amsterdam (1997) . It is called "A view of
Giethoorn". Reasons we are sure it to be that work are
the typical dimensions and the image of course.
Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 50 / 70,5 cm.
And his signature of course. For those who are planning
to buy a work of Henricus Veenendaal, beware as there are
two dutch painters called H. Veenendaal.
