Janos Viski / Adri Visser

Janos Viski

J Viski, Janos Viski. JANOS VISKI was born in 1891
in Szokolya, Hungary.
This brilliant Hungarian artist studied at the
Academy of Fine Arts under Tividar Zempleny directions.
His first exhibition dates from 1913 -although there are
some people that date it from 1921.
By admiring his works, one can easily see through
his paintbrushes and feel his passion for animals
especially horses.

A nice detail of this horse painting.
A lot of his works can be seen at the internet.
Strangely enough more of his works keep
popping up in South America.

Though the background hasn't been done with attention
to detail, his horses are really an achievement in
itself. The action and his impressionistic approach
makes these works worth observations.

Normally church interiors are not our cup of tea but
sometimes yu have to make an exception: This is one
of them. An artist living in the 20thst and still working
in the style of the old masters. Simply great regarding
the light expression but also the figures in this scene
deserve our attention. Oil on canvas. 40 / 50 cm.

With a few touches of paint but so spot on these
human figures have been depicted by tis painter.

And of course his signature of this work in pristine
condition. And not only the work itself! Also the
encadrement of the Belgium firm Schleiper.
