Westkapelle in the Netherlands close to where he

lived (Domburg) could be the place where this is located.

This could be a sketch for a later painting.

This signature is absolutely convincing with the 

underlining with the two dots above it. Toorop

not allways mentioned the year of production 

but most of the time he did.

artist made more of at the end of his life. It was part of
a map with more remarkable works from a smaller
museum in Antwerp e.g. a Ferdinand de Braeckeleer
original litho. Work on paper. Dimensions: 25 / 35 cm.
